Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project development activities, collaborating with departments for land acquisition and related tasks.
  • Identify suitable developers/aggregators for wind energy projects.
  • Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to land, forest, and other approvals.
  • Assess risks in land acquisition and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Lead legal due diligence and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Handle interactions with local agencies and stakeholders.
  • Manage administrative tasks across pan-India locations.
  • Develop project plans and schedules.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in land acquisition involving Revenue/Private/Forest Land.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in land procurement/acquisition for Wind and/or solar projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of government policies, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to forests and land.
  • Familiarity with land acquisition processes.
  • Ability to conduct preliminary due diligence checks.
  • Proficiency in identifying suitable developers/aggregators.
  • Ability to secure lands within targeted timelines.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
