Job Opportunity: Technical Leadership Position

The company is seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead our technical team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development of software applications and ensuring that they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead product and project commitments, participating in product roadmap discussions and providing inputs on design, modelling, and architectural decisions.
  2. Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output, creating designs that improve flexibility, functionality, and usability of system components.
  3. Define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and build a system meeting those requirements, performing design and code reviews, and overseeing project logistics and resource allocation.
  4. Use tools and techniques to enhance quality of code and design, focusing on constant reduction of code debt, suggesting the best design and implementation methodology.
  5. Collaborate with other team leaders and departments, building and developing required competence in the team.
  6. Mentor team members and prepare them for possible future roles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or relevant field.
  • Around 7 to 15 years of total experience working on delivery/development/team management etc.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience working frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in mobile technologies like Android.
  • Good understanding of commonly used databases like SQL, NoSQL.
Technical Skills & Efficiency:
  • Personnel and project management skills.
  • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.
  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
  • Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus.
  • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions.
  • Experience in fintech space is an advantage.
Communication & Ownership:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed.
