Senior Backend Architect

Join our team and lead the design of scalable backend systems for web and mobile applications in a stablecoin stack.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for leading the development of our web and mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of scalability and security.
  • You will design and implement robust infrastructure atop fragmented on/off-ramp integrations, enabling seamless transactions across various platforms.
  • In this role, you will define the architecture of our system, lead technical discussions, and ensure the overall robustness of our solutions.
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team, guiding them in the implementation of best practices and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in backend engineering with expertise in TypeScript / Node.js and API design.
  • Proven track record of integrating external APIs across geographies, with a strong understanding of fintech or payments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in scaling early-stage systems, with a proven ability to take ownership and ship fast.
  • Prior exposure to leadership roles in startups, with a strong DNA for entrepreneurship.
Bonus Requirements:
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat modeling.
