As a seasoned internal auditor, you will play a pivotal role in leading risk-based audits across various operational, financial and compliance areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an annual risk-based audit plan, managing engagements from start to finish.

• Develop and implement controls to ensure strong governance practices.

• Lead audit teams, coach reviewers and manage client stakeholders, with a focus on exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

• Qualification/Background: Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification with 10+ years of experience in consulting or CA firms, with a strong background in internal auditing and leadership.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent risk assessment, control testing and report writing skills. You should also be proficient in client communication and negotiation. Additionally, you should be willing to relocate as needed.

Preferred qualifications include mid-tier consulting or CA firm experience with robust internal audit exposure. However, we are not considering candidates from Big 4 firms or industry-heavy profiles.

During the initial 90-day period, you will be expected to finalize the risk-based plan, establish controls documentation and testing cadence, deliver initial reports and contribute one qualified business development lead.
