Internal Audit Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our internal audit program.

About the Role:
  • Implement all audit programs in line with the audit plan and adhere to industry standards.
  • Execute audits and reviews, testing templates and auditable activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support client engagement and coordination on meetings and fieldwork, ensuring alignment on observations and finalizing action plans.
  • Document all forms of audit work papers as per established procedures and standards.
  • Provide consultative support to business units on Enterprise Risk Management Framework implementation and Control Self Assessments, reviewing programs for adequacy and providing recommendations.
  • Enhance control awareness through Governance, Risk, and Compliance/Business Process Controls training programs, offering feedback on observations.
  • Participate in Forensic Audits/Fraud Investigations, reporting results and recommending corrective actions.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Timely completion of audit topics per plan.
  • Client feedback/survey results.
  • Quality and magnitude of risks identified and improvements recommended.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (and/or) Cost & Management Accountant, with relevant Internal Audit experience (and/or) Certified Internal Auditor.
  • 7-10 years of Internal Audit Experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Manufacturing/Process industry preferred.
  • Good understanding of Accounting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience with accepted practices of Accounting Consolidation, financial preparation, and reporting.
  • Foresenic Reviews/Fraud Investigations experience (Preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft Office package.
  • Tech savvy, good understanding of Database Systems.
