Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams and drive technical innovation.

  • This role requires an individual with hands-on experience in engineering roles, preferably with 8-10 years of experience, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, as evidenced by a Bachelor's/Master's degree.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging their technical expertise to guide projects with unclear outcomes and balance team autonomy with organizational guidance.
  • Mentoring teammates, driving innovation, and influencing cross-team initiatives to deliver business value.
  • Collaborating effectively with stakeholders to propose new product offerings and contribute to company-wide strategies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A high level of experience with multiple server-side programming languages, particularly Java with Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and supporting REST services and microservices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, infrastructure as code practices, Kubernetes, AWS, relational databases, non-relational databases, and messaging systems.
