Customer Onboarding Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for their onboarding journey and ensuring a seamless experience. This role involves managing customer requests, reviewing renewal pipelines, and serving as a product champion to drive adoption and expand features with our product team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the customer onboarding process, including training, implementation, and helping customers create solutions on our platform.
  • Manage relationships between internal and external teams to ensure smooth account management.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate process improvement and overall account health.
  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) for our platform, partnering with clients to understand operational challenges and identifying opportunities to expand within the account.
  • Resolve product support questions as they arise.
  • Work cross-functionally with product management to surface customer requests and translate customer feedback into product requirements.
  • Contribute to operationalising the implementation function as the team scales.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as Technical Onboarding Manager, Customer Onboarding Manager, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Consultant.
  • Experience with project managing customer implementations for enterprise clients or consulting with clients on business process improvements at the Director, VP, and Exec level of Fortune 500 companies.
  • Advanced understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based software environments.
  • A builder mindset, comfortable working in a startup environment and taking projects from concept to delivery.
  • Knowledge and understanding of APIs, webhooks, and database structure.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting technical problems and running projects with variable roadmaps and checklists.
  • Comfort in defining customer workflow/automation requirements and creating net-new process diagrams/workflows with customers.
