Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting stores operations and ensuring 100% inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipt of materials such as room temperature, cold storage, hazardous, toxic, pyrophoric, flammable, explosive, reducing agents, peroxide forming chemicals, restricted, licensed, controlled substance materials, reagents, general consumables, lab items, and packing materials.
  • Verification, segregation, barcoding, and storage as per chemical compatibility zones, appropriate temperatures, monitoring, and recording cold room temperature as per SOP.
  • Labeling containers with zone identification, storage conditions, and expiry dates and ensuring free from handwritten labels as per SOP.
  • Material issuances and receipts strictly based on reservation and return reservation requests and posting transaction entries and maintaining records.
  • Conducting physical stock verification quarterly as per SOP, finding out stock mismatch if any, submitting reports, and correcting stock using SAP t-codes and handing over redundant chemicals to EHSS after getting necessary approvals as per SOP and protocol.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams for smooth store operation.
  • Developing store teams to bring operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring 100% inventory accuracy always and inventory optimization.
  • Responsible for safety, sustainability, audit compliances, following SOP, protocols, and real-time record maintenance.
  • Following EHS requirements at all times in the workplace, ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
  • Attending training on EHS measures imparted by the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc or relevant qualification (preferably in chemistry).
  • Knowledge of SAP MM-Module.
  • Chemical knowledge, hazardous identification, compatibility storage, and safety system requirements.
  • Good documentation and SDS management.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations such as chemical spillage, fumes, flammable leaks, firefighting, etc.
  • Warehouse and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer skills - MS Office (MS Word and Excel).

Experience

3-6 years of work experience in a relevant field.
