Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift expert to join our team as a senior infrastructure administrator. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Red Hat OpenShift clusters.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of OCP clusters.
    • Oversee complete end-to-end project management, installation, re-installation, configuration, re-configuration, implementation, integration, monitoring, patch management, VA/PT closure, and troubleshooting.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Support and Troubleshooting: Provide L3 support for incidents and problems related to OpenShift, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
    • Collaborate with other teams to resolve platform-related issues.
    • Performance and Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OCP clusters, implement best practices for resource allocation and management, conduct capacity planning, and scaling of OCP environments.
    • Security and Compliance: Implement security policies, ensure compliance with organizational standards, perform regular security audits, and vulnerability assessments, manage access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
    • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks and deployments, utilize tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for automation, ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices are followed.
    • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the OCP environment and processes, provide training and mentorship to junior administrators and other team members, participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical workshops.

  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
    • 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
    • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
