Job Title: Senior Network Reliability Engineer

About this role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a senior network reliability engineer in a compliance-driven environment. The primary focus is on securely designing, deploying, automating, and monitoring both traditional and cloud network infrastructure.

  • Network Design & Deployment: Lead the secure design, installation, and configuration of critical infrastructure at new and existing sites.
  • Compliance Automation & Audit: Implement and automate regular network infrastructure audits and compliance checks using Ansible, Python, Bash, and IAC tools.
  • Routine Upgrades & Changes: Manage OS upgrades, routing changes, ACL/firewall updates, and ensure change control processes align with compliance requirements.
  • Firewall & Security Operations: Oversee deployment and full lifecycle management of NGFW solutions, including rule reviews, vulnerability mitigation, and audit preparation.
  • Cloud Network Security: Secure, segment, and manage network resources across AWS (preferred), Azure, and GCP; integrate security best practices and compliance controls.
  • Incident Management & Forensics: Respond to security/network incidents, perform traffic/port scans, document findings, and lead post-mortems to reduce risks and maintain audit trails.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Enablement: Work with vendors, workplace, compliance, and development teams to deliver reliable, compliant infrastructure and integrate controls into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitoring & SIEM Integration: Implement advanced monitoring and SIEM tooling to achieve real-time, auditable visibility into network and cloud health; proactively detect issues and support compliance documentation.
  • Resilience: Contribute to infrastructure strategy with advancing automation, proactive defense, disaster recovery, and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, deploy, and configure secure network infrastructure at new and existing sites.
  2. Implement and automate regular network infrastructure audits and compliance checks using various tools.

  4. Oversee deployment and full lifecycle management of NGFW solutions.

  7. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, compliant infrastructure.
  8. Implement advanced monitoring and SIEM tooling to achieve real-time visibility into network and cloud health.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure design, deployment, and automation.
  • Experience with compliance automation and auditing using various tools.
  • Knowledge of OS upgrades, routing changes, ACL/firewall updates, and change control processes.
  • Familiarity with NGFW solutions and their lifecycle management.
  • Ability to secure, segment, and manage network resources across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond to security/network incidents.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of advanced monitoring and SIEM tooling and their implementation.
