Senior Test Automation Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a pivotal role, ensuring our platform is delivered with high test coverage and functional confidence.

As a key member of the engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and leading test strategies that span from team-level features to solution-level integration. You'll be working closely with technology leadership and cross-functional Agile teams in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for web and mobile applications using industry-leading tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, Appium, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (developers, product managers, designers) to define test strategies for delivering high test coverage and functional quality confidence.
  • Implement automated functional, regression, performance, and integration tests to validate features and overall system quality.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing to cover edge cases and complex scenarios.
  • Continuously improve test coverage and automation effectiveness by identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and integrating modern testing tools and practices.
  • Integrate into the DevOps CI/CD pipelines and SDLC.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to provide feedback and ensure delivery of high-quality, defect-free software.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and tools in test automation and software quality engineering, bringing in best practices to the team.

Experience and Skills Required
  • Around 5-10 years of experience working as a Senior Software Test Engineer - both full cycle, rich experience in test automation development & software testing execution and its life-cycle.
  • Strong expertise in test automation frameworks with proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages for building automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices, with a track record of ensuring high-quality releases.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps integration to embed testing into the development lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of defect management tools for logging, tracking, and reporting issues.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable insights.
