**Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for our machine shop operations. The successful candidate will conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, with experience in conducting inspections, analyzing data, and developing corrective actions. They will also be proficient in mechanical and dimensional testing using various measurement tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for machine shop operations
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Analyze data and identify areas for quality improvement
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues
  • Perform mechanical and dimensional testing using various measurement tools and equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Production/Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality control and assurance
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
