Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products by developing and executing testing plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Job Description

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software products meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This includes:

  • Developing and maintaining testing strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects through various stages of testing and resolution.
  • Collaborating with developers to reproduce and fix defects, and implementing fixes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of testing activities, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects quickly and accurately.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
