We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift expert to join our team. As an OpenShift Administrator, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized OpenShift platforms.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications and systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure internal Kubernetes/Container platform that supports the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and documentation to streamline deployment and management processes.
  • Ensure platform stability and performance by proactively monitoring system metrics, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing resources.
  • Implement observability solutions, such as monitoring, logging, and tracing tools, to gain valuable insights into platform performance and application behavior.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, helping them adopt the Kubernetes platform and improve their application deployment and management capabilities.
  • On call rotation basis and expected to handle unexpected incidents.
  • Creating and managing Kubernetes objects, configuring networking, and ensuring high availability.
  • Collaborating with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
  • Ensuring security and compliance by implementing security controls, performing vulnerability assessments, and creating documentation.
Requirements:
  • At least 7+ years of experience in OpenShift Engineering including some public cloud experience.
  • Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components, with hands-on experience in building and managing Kubernetes platforms in production environments.
  • End-to-end Implementation of the Kubernetes architecture - installation, configuration, hardening, networking, etc.
  • Proficiency in a procedural or scripting programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
  • Experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles (e.g., GitHub Actions, Concourse, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
  • Experience designing and deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of security and compliance best practices.
  • Familiarity with observability best practices and tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferrable Requirements:
  • TAS (Tanzu Application Service), Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AKS, NSX, NSX-T experience.
  • Automation/Continuous Integration experience.
  • Programming/scripting Language experience, with a strong preference for Go and Python.
  • Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as code API's using interface definition tools like Swagger.
  • Strong understanding of Virtual computing environments and concepts such as Hypervisors and load balancing concepts.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, And preferably hands-on experience, with Identity management, Access Management, Certificate management.
  • Experience designing and implementing containerized infrastructure logging and observability tools such as Splunk, Fluentd/Fluentbit, Prometheus/Grafana/Alert manager Suite, Wavefront, APPD.
  • Experience with .net core and .net framework.
  • Experience with Open policy Agents or other policy engines.
