Job Title

The Telesales Team Lead will spearhead a group of 30 sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

This position entails:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a telesales team of 30 executives.
  • Setting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for individuals and the team.
  • Monitoring performance, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensuring the team adheres to company sales scripts, compliance policies, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

Sales & Strategy
  • Developing and implementing telesales strategies to drive revenue and meet business objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and retain customers.
  • Tracking KPIs such as call volumes, conversion rates, lead generation, and revenue.
  • Analyzing sales data and preparing regular reports for senior management.
Training & Development
  • Providing training and coaching to improve communication, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Onboarding new hires and ensuring smooth integration into the team.
  • Identifying skill gaps and arranging refresher training sessions.
Operations & Process Management
  • Ensuring efficient use of CRM systems, call scripts, and sales tools.
  • Monitoring call quality, customer interactions, and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Managing shift scheduling, attendance, and team discipline.
  • Collaborating with marketing and operations teams to support lead generation and customer engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure sales environments.
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of telesales/inside sales experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing large telesales teams (20–30+ people).
