Land Consultant Job Description

This is a highly specialized role within our team that involves researching and delivering high-quality land ownership information to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an organized and communicative individual to conduct land referencing activities, including desktop research, questionnaire analysis, and landowner liaison.
  • Negotiating access to land for environmental and other surveys is also a crucial aspect of this job.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing landowner interests and rights in land affected by development and infrastructure delivery.
  • Attending internal and external project meetings is also a key part of this role.

You will work closely with our team of Land Consultants to assist in liaising with landowners, obtaining consent, gaining access, and compensating them for the impact caused by the scheme. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the Land sector and gain experience across significant infrastructure projects in rail, road, and energy sectors.

A key requirement for this position is a degree in geography or another relevant discipline.

Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) is essential.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills who is keen to learn the skills required to negotiate with landowners and gain knowledge of the legal process required for the acquisition of wayleaves/easements.
