Care and Education Director

Job Description:

The Care and Education Director will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and education to children, and serving as the main point of contact for families.

As a leader, you will be tasked with leading a high-performing childcare and education business with a motivated and self-directed team, consistent with all aspects of our mission statement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Continuously improving practices, policies, processes, and behaviors that underpin a safety culture
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead for the center
  • Setting the highest standards of behavior across their setting consistent with the HEART principles
  • Coaching the highest levels of performance from every member of their team
  • Delivering world-class customer service aligned to local customer expectations
  • Maintaining high-quality care and education through internal 'green' audits and external 'good, excellent or outstanding' regulatory assessments
  • Optimizing occupancy levels
  • Having up-to-date knowledge of early education and childcare quality standards and ensuring compliance at all times, including sound pedagogical knowledge ensuring staff provide effective teaching and learning
  • Developing and executing a nursery strategy to outperform people, quality, and growth metrics
  • Attending client meetings as required

  • Early Years Qualification (Early Years Degree desirable)
