Chief Sustainability Specialist

This role involves contributing to the creation of a new Sustainability Reporting team in Finance.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting on quantitative finance metrics for the Group's annual report as required.
  • Preparing local sustainability reports for all global presence markets, supporting entity CFOs.
  • Ensuring that external reports meet applicable TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, and other regulatory requirements, primarily climate-related quantitative disclosure requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Management: Leading by example and building an appropriate culture and values, ensuring ongoing technical training and development of staff in regards to the latest disclosures and accounting regulatory requirements for broader sustainability requirements.
  • Risk Management: Collaborating with risk and control partners to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements, the risk management framework, and internal policies.
  • Governance: Active participation in project governance regarding Group Financial Reporting's role in projects requiring external reporting expertise, specifically in the sustainability space.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Displaying exemplary conduct and living by the bank's Values and Code of Conduct, taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the organization.
