Public Relations Manager

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the successful execution of public relations strategies for clients. With an emphasis on integrated communications, this position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong relationship-building abilities with media professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Regularly update Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Create high-quality content, including press releases, content briefing templates, and authored articles, that showcase expertise in the field
  • Compile and submit detailed reports, such as Weekly in Progress (WIP) reports, monthly reports, and quarterly plans, in collaboration with the line manager
  • Coordinate end-to-end the opportunity closure process to achieve desired outcomes
  • Develop and maintain effective media relationships with correspondents, assistant editors, and other key stakeholders
  • Distribute press releases and follow up with relevant parties to maximize impact
  • Collaborate with partners to achieve their media outreach goals and objectives
  • Share media opportunity and query emails with partners for efficient communication
  • Provide regular updates on coverage and ensure timely submission of critical documents
  • Upload essential documents to a centralized drive for easy access and reference
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in public relations or a related field
  • A strong understanding of IT, tech, AI, and start-up verticals is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for success in this role
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
