Job Title: Scrum Master + Business Analyst


This role involves leading Agile teams and managing projects using Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Scrum Master and Business Analyst roles, with a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure team alignment and progress.

  2. Coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and principles to improve their overall performance.

  3. Remove impediments and foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment to drive innovation and growth.

  4. Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

  5. Work closely with Team, Business and Stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.

  6. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects.

  7. Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

  8. Work with data architects, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately.

  9. Develop process flows, data mappings, and other documentation as needed.

  10. Support data quality initiatives and help define data governance standards.

  11. Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data warehousing, data analytics, or data services.

  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.

  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Optional but good to have - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)

  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.
