Database Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Database Specialist to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolve complex MySQL performance issues. The successful candidate will have expertise in MySQL Enterprise Versions Products, including migration from MySQL to MariaDB and vice versa.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM). A strong understanding of InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations and troubleshooting is essential. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with open source HA tools like keepalived and tungstun.

The selected individual will collaborate with our team to provide solutions and troubleshoot issues in public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Experience with logical backups, MySQL Enterprise backups, and knowledge of database configuration are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate databases between MySQL and MariaDB
  • Configure and troubleshoot MySQL Enterprise Monitor and Oracle Enterprise Monitor
  • Develop high-performance database functionalities
  • Resolve MySQL performance issues
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement database solutions
  • Provide solutions and troubleshoot issues in public cloud platforms

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of MySQL Enterprise Versions Products
