Database Administrator Role

The IMS Database Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing databases to support enterprise applications effectively.

This position is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning of IMS databases within a mainframe environment. The goal is to ensure the availability, integrity, and security of critical data used by enterprise applications.

Main Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Maintenance: Hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing database performance.
