Logistics Coordination Specialist

The Logistics Coordination Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and cost-efficient supply chain management while adhering to strict safety and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics plans for timely deliveries, support route planning and shipment scheduling for optimal efficiency, and liaise with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor stock levels, support inventory audits, ensure proper documentation during goods receipt, storage, and dispatch, and assist in maintaining product storage and safety standards.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments, escalate delays or issues, coordinate with transporters and third-party logistics providers, and support negotiation and execution of transportation agreements.
  • Ensure accurate logistics records and shipment documentation, comply with company policies and applicable regulations, and follow established safety protocols and risk assessments.
  • Provide regular logistics updates and reports to the manager, track logistics expenses, and highlight cost-optimization opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
  • Proficient knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred) and willingness to travel if required.
  • Ability to work in office and warehouse settings.
  • Occasional travel to distribution centers or vendor sites may be required.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during high-volume periods is essential.
