Warehouse Director

Job Title: Warehouse Head – Western Region

Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Warehouse Head to lead our West Region operations. The role requires strong expertise in end-to-end warehouse operations management, P&L ownership, customer handling, and solution design. The ideal candidate must have deep operational knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regional Leadership: Manage and oversee warehouse operations for the West Region, ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance, and safety standards.
• P&L Management: Full ownership of regional warehouse P&L including budgeting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency in inbound, storage, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
• Solutioning & Process Improvement: Design and implement customized operational solutions for customers, optimize layouts, manpower planning, and material handling systems.
• Customer Management: Build strong relationships with key customers; ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
• Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the operations team to deliver high performance and service excellence.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, health & safety standards, and internal audit guidelines.
• Technology & Automation: WMS, and other digital solutions to drive efficiency and visibility in operations.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations & logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in P&L management, operations design, and customer solutioning.
• In-depth knowledge of warehousing processes, local compliances, and labor regulations in Maharashtra (Bhiwandi region preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of handling large-scale warehouses / multi-client facilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Salary Range:

₹28–30 LPA
