Test Environment Specialist

As a strategic and innovative test environment lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, configuration, and maintenance of our test environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test environment strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure accurate replication of production environments through effective environment configuration.
  • Allocate and schedule environment usage to prevent conflicts and optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain the correct and latest versions of operating systems, software, tools, and databases within the test environment.
  • Protect the integrity of the test environment and manage user access securely.
  • Monitor the health and performance of the test environment to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and other teams to ensure the test environment meets their needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage test data, ensuring it is available and maintained accurately in each environment.
  • Implement data security and protection measures to prevent sensitive data exposure in test environments.
  • Prepare synthetic data using automation tools to reduce dependency on production data.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in project coordination, risk management, and scope development.
