Job Title: Marketplace Business Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketplace Business Manager to lead the growth and management of our marketplace. This is a P&L management role that requires a combination of skills including strategic planning, supply chain management, demand generation, and a deep understanding of market and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Growth Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive supply and demand within a particular marketplace and increase market share.
  • Market Trends Analysis: Understand local supply and demand trends and competitor activities, using insights to form appropriate plans to leverage opportunities for growth.
  • Revenue and Cost Optimisation: Identify revenue and cost-saving opportunities to maximise profits.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Engineers or MBA professionals with 2-5 years of experience in pure-play key account management roles with end-to-end responsibility and in a fast-paced setup.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong first-principle thinking ability to identify and solve problem statements end-to-end, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability, excellent stakeholder management skills.

Note: This job requires regular travel across rural areas in the assigned geography.
