Business Development Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development professional to join our team of experts in delivering services in carbon advisory, renewable energy, sustainability, and NBS projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing knowledgebase of carbon markets through research, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and assisting seniors in developing sales pitches and participating in presentations.

This role is perfect for someone who has relevant qualifications, 1-3 years of experience in Renewable Energy, Carbon Consultancy, Power Sector, WTE, or NBS, excellent communication and report-writing skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop knowledgebase of carbon markets through desk-based research.
    • Research new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services.
    • Seek out appropriate contacts and generate leads through regular follow-ups.
    • Assist seniors in developing sales pitches and participating in presentations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Renewable Energy, Carbon Consultancy, Power Sector, WTE, or NBS.
  • Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts.
  • Effective time management to deliver on client expectations.
  • Proactive attitude and responsibility for tasks assigned.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability.
