Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead the implementation, migration, and management of enterprise-grade storage and backup systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in storage and backup administration, automation, and troubleshooting, with the ability to handle critical incidents and work in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, migrate, manage, and decommission enterprise storage and backup solutions.
  • Administer and support leading storage and backup technologies.
  • Manage data protection and backup solutions.
  • Handle replication, backup catalog disaster recovery, and related processes.
  • Administer tape libraries.
  • Automate systems administration and provisioning using internal tools and scripting.
  • Monitor storage and backup utilization, provide insights into system performance, and ensure high availability.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience in storage and backup administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Solaris operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end storage and backup operations.
  • Ability to manage and resolve critical incidents and work in night/rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python programming and basic knowledge of Ansible.
  • Experience with SAN, NAS, AWS, NetBackup, Hitachi, Isilon (Powerscale), OneFS.
  • Understanding of data science concepts and scalable architectures.
