Logistics Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end last mile delivery operations within the hub, ensuring timely deliveries and optimized routes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of delivery bikers, ensuring performance standards are met, resolving team issues and conflicts, and providing continuous feedback for improvement.

Additionally, the Logistics Manager will oversee cash handling operations, ensuring daily reconciliation of cash collected during deliveries. They will also track, monitor, and report on key metrics such as daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance, return to origin (RTO), and other KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of delivery bikers to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Resolve team issues and conflicts, and provide continuous feedback for improvement.
  • Oversee cash handling operations, ensuring daily reconciliation of cash collected during deliveries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on last-mile delivery operations, for junior logistics, and 4-5 years of experience for senior logistics executive.
  • Prior experience in managing bikers and cash reconciliation is required.
  • Strong route knowledge within the city and nearby areas is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of logistics metrics is necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is required.
