Database Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Developer to collaborate with our engineering team and contribute to the development of core product features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database models to support product development.
  • Create and maintain SQL database objects, such as views, tables, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Develop and maintain SSIS packages, T-SQL scripts, and SQL jobs for data processing and ETL workflows.
  • Create and optimize complex stored procedures to load data into staging tables from OLTP and other intermediary systems.
  • Perform database design, normalization, indexing, and query performance tuning.
  • Design partitioning strategies for managing archived data efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Excel-based analytics tools.
  • Document technical processes, business requirements, and data specifications for internal use.
  • Support database migration activities and implement authorization/authentication protocols.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in database design, schema normalization, and query optimization.
  • Proficiency in writing complex Transact-SQL (T-SQL) code.
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server, including query tuning, indexing, and performance analysis.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers.
  • Knowledge of columnstore indexing, query execution plans, and SQL Server column storage.
  • Experience in SSIS for ETL and workflow automation.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms in database systems.
  • Experience with database migration and transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data warehousing or business intelligence environments.
  • Familiarity with Excel Power tools (Power Pivot, Power View, Power Map).
  • Exposure to cloud-based SQL solutions is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
