About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Architect to join our team. As a Backend Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure backend architectures using Python and Node.js.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of React and its interaction with backend APIs, as well as experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You will also be proficient in REST/GraphQL API design and microservices architecture.

This role involves collaborating with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration with React-based UIs, defining and enforcing architectural standards, patterns, and best practices, and mentoring and guiding backend developers.

You will also be responsible for developing APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) that power web and mobile applications, optimizing database design and access (SQL and NoSQL), and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend architectures using Python and Node.js
  • Collaborate with front-end teams for seamless integration
  • Mentor and guide backend developers
  • Develop APIs (RESTful and GraphQL)
  • Optimize database design and access
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience designing and developing backend systems in Python and Node.js
  • Strong understanding of React and its interaction with backend APIs
  • Proficiency in REST/GraphQL API design and microservices architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Solid understanding of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
