Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Leader to join our team at Diageo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving volume and NSR/ GSV targets in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor individual sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to achieve brand-wise and segment-wise sales volume targets.
• Prepare and communicate volume schemes to retailers and ensure timely claim settlement of promotional schemes.
• Manage the new product launch process in your region and maintain the overall distribution of brands by ensuring the availability of relevant SKUs and variants in your territory.

Activation

• Execute merchandising and promotional programs as per national and regional marketing strategies.
• Ensure proper usage of brand and promotional elements and responsible for training, deployment, and evaluation of third-party employees.

Reporting

• Ensure visit frequency and coverage of outlets in your territory are as per the daily journey plan.
• Responsible for correct and timely submission of claims and daily sales reports and relevant reports.
• Keep a track on competitor's activity and report the same to your reporting manager.

Requirements

• MBA in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification.
• 3 years of experience in Alco-Bev sales or >5 years of experience in consumer sales (FMCG or Telecom).
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to work with people across levels.
• Happy to spend majority of time in the market and likes to carry out analysis.
• Good at networking and emphasizes excellence.
