Senior Manager Compensation Benefits Job Description

The role of a Senior Manager in Compensation and Benefits is pivotal to the organization's success. This position requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication to design and implement total rewards strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits structures that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of market data, industry trends, and internal equity principles to inform reward decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement annual operating plans for workforce costs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with external consultants to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits.
  • Own the annual performance-linked bonus and salary revision cycles, including system readiness, communication frameworks, and payout governance.
  • Support HRBP teams and leaders with C&B advisory, job evaluations, and compensation structuring for offers and promotions.
Requirements:
  • 6–8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits / Rewards / HR Analytics, preferably in the BFSI sector.
  • Postgraduate degree in HR / MBA from a recognized institute.
  • Deep understanding of manpower planning, AOP, total rewards, C&B frameworks, and incentive design.
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, HR dashboards, and compensation tools.
  • Experience in handling large data sets, deriving insights, and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain high attention to detail.
