Job Title: AP Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AP Operations Manager to lead our accounts payable team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Guide the Team: Lead the AP team to ensure efficient and effective processing of invoices, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance on internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Monitor and Manage AP Aging Reports: Regularly review and analyze AP aging reports to identify areas for improvement, resolve discrepancies with vendors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all AP processes adhere to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate Month-End Closing Activities: Oversee the month-end closing process for AP, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Develop Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AP processes and implement changes as needed.
  • Train and Mentor Team Members: Provide training and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with procurement, finance, and other departments to streamline workflows and improve communication.
  • Escalate Vendor Issues: Handle complex vendor issues and invoice discrepancies, working with stakeholders to resolve problems efficiently.
