Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams in financial operations.

About the Role

The AR/AP Team Lead will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and timely collections. This pivotal position involves overseeing reconciliations, effective vendor management, and compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment among team members.
  • Manage and oversee the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions during US shift hours.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections for efficient cash flow management.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable and payable transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment-related issues and ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations related to AR and AP processes.
  • Analyze AR and AP reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 18 years of extensive experience in managing AR and AP functions, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant accounting regulations like IAS or IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
