As our Finance & Operations leader, you will play a key role in scaling our operations, building robust financial systems, and driving sustainable growth from Day 1.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations, with prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms. You will be comfortable managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support, with a passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance & Fundraising:
    • Develop and manage financial models to drive informed decision-making.
    • Lead fundraising efforts, preparing investor materials, pitch decks, and financial modeling.
    • Build robust financial systems, including accounting, compliance, reporting, and unit economics analysis.
    • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations:
    • Design an operational playbook for marketplaces, ensuring seamless event logistics.
    • Develop processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and dispute resolution.
    • Balance marketplace liquidity, ensuring hosts meet attendee demand.
    • Build trust & safety operations, including community guidelines and refund policies.
  • Scaling & Partnerships:
    • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
    • Develop KPI dashboards to track event volume, ticket sales, host retention, and repeat attendance.
    • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a plus.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can execute early on.
  • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.

 

Compensation:

  • Up to ~10 LPA salary.
  • Up to 10% equity, vested over 3 years.
