Primary Responsibilities
- Maximize room bookings by delivering a professional and efficient reservation service to guests.
- Ensure that reservations are handled effectively while maximizing revenue for AccorHotel.
People Management
- Work with internal and external representatives from different functions to execute reservations.
- Provide effective support to the team to enable them to provide a range of effective and efficient services.
- Ensure that the team has been trained on all safety provisions.
Financial Management
- Identify optimal cost-effective use of resources and educate the team on the same.
- Maintain and update the corporate database, entering delegate bookings to ensure delegate information/records are kept up to date and accurate for future events.
Operational Management
- Ensure that reservations requests are answered promptly and politely, and complete details are recorded as per standard procedure.
- Handle all incoming enquiries efficiently and effectively, converting them into bookings.
- Handle enquiries promptly and efficiently, with the overall objective of maximizing sales and room occupancy rates.
Qualifications:
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from a reputable hospitality school.
- Fresher or 6-12 months of experience in a similar capacity with proven records.
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Competencies.
- Ability to accept responsibility.
- Self-confidence, motivation, drive, and tenacity.
- Ability to enhance organizational performance.
- Ability to clearly delegate tasks and responsibilities.
