Job Description

**Role:** Trustee Officer
**Location:** HSR Layout, Bangalore
**Work arrangement:** On-site

Key Responsibilities:
  • To report to the Board of trustee company and assist Trustees in all aspects relating to monitoring of activities and ensuring scheme offer document compliances.
  • Preparation of all Compliance reports as required under SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 and Master Circular for Mutual Funds.
  • Conducting training on various policies relating to Compliance.
  • Monitoring of Compliance related Policies.
  • To ensure all directions of Trustees are implemented in timely manner including SEBI and AMFI circulars and relevant guidelines of Mutual Funds.
  • Drafting of Agenda, Notices and Minutes for Committees/Board/General Meetings.
  • Organize the board, members and Trustee committees' meetings.
  • Preparation and maintenance of meetings of the board, members and various committees.
  • Coordinate with external counsels and consultants.
  • Ensuring all necessary reporting (regulatory and ad-hoc) to Trustees are done in time for necessary approvals.
  • Liaise with Trustees on a regular basis for escalations and other operational and compliance matters which require their attention.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, coordinate and support for SEBI and RBI compliances.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification with a minimum 5 years of experience in finance and financial services related field.
  • Qualified Company Secretary (preferred) and graduation in finance or law is a plus.
  • Practical knowledge in SEBI, FEMA and RBI regulations.
  • Skill in meticulous drafting and review of compliance documents.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive risk management approach.
