Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, identifying reliable vendors, and negotiating cost-effective purchases to ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and services required for smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors for raw materials, machinery spares, consumables, and services. Obtain quotations, compare price, quality, and delivery terms, and finalize purchase orders. Develop alternate sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Conduct vendor performance evaluation based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions as necessary.
