Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This role will involve delivering sourcing value within the Procurement Center of Excellence for Canadian business, Corporate, and IT spend categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Stakeholder Relationships: Identify and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Sourcing Process Execution: Manage the execution of the sourcing process to meet business requirements and goals.
  • Governance Support: Support clients on related governance requirements, including third-party risk management, AML screening, financial viability, etc.
  • Process Improvement: Focus on the continuous improvement of various procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience.
  • Proven expertise leading sourcing initiatives, processes, and developing strategies.
  • Skills in working with internal stakeholders and driving the process.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Familiarity with vendor contract language, SAP Ariba Contracts, and Sourcing Modules.
  • Understanding of general procurement challenges and solutions.
  • Ability to work with internal legal counsel and other governance stakeholders.
