Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage procurement operations, ensuring timely delivery of quality materials while optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines by utilizing market research and data analysis.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to secure the best value for the company through effective negotiation and contract management.
  3. Monitor supplier performance and compliance, maintaining a robust database to ensure continuous assessment and improvement.
  4. Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements for materials and equipment, ensuring seamless integration into procurement processes.
  5. Review and approve technical documents, material submittals, and compliance certifications to guarantee adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
  6. Conduct regular market research to identify cost-effective alternatives and innovative materials that meet business objectives.
  7. Manage procurement budgets effectively, driving cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
  8. Analyze procurement data and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
  9. Forecast pricing trends and market fluctuations to mitigate financial risks associated with procurement activities.
  10. Ensure timely delivery of materials by coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams, minimizing delays and disruptions to business operations.
  11. Optimize supply chain processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, reducing costs and environmental impact.
  12. Oversee international and domestic shipping, customs regulations, and import/export requirements to ensure compliant and efficient global trade practices.
  13. Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies through regular audits and risk assessments.
  14. Resolve contract disputes, warranties, and claims in collaboration with legal teams, protecting the company's interests and reputation.
  15. Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to streamline purchasing workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance decision-making.
  16. Generate reports on procurement performance, supplier KPIs, and cost savings to inform strategic business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Deliverables include RFQs/RFPs & PO documentation, order tracking and delivery reports, supplier evaluation and negotiation summaries, inventory and cost tracking reports, and procurement compliance and audit files.
