Job Overview

A senior engineer will be responsible for leading the development of our products to meet high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our manufacturing team to define design for excellence requirements and rules, ensuring timely adherence to set targets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct design for manufacturability analysis in printed circuit board assembly and fabrication analysis in printed circuit board.
  • Analyze testability and generate design for test reports. Simulate mechanical assembly processes and create design for assembly reports Creating design for excellence procedures and checklists according to customer specifications.
  • Generate design for excellence reports based on findings, observations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal manufacturing teams to define design for excellence requirements and rules.
  • Ensure timely generation and distribution of design for excellence reports to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide them towards effective deliverables.
  • Train new and existing team members on relevant software tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis to expedite issue resolution.
  • Prepare key performance indicator reports for weekly and monthly operations reviews.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years' experience in design for excellence methodologies, printed circuit board assembly design for manufacturability process, design for test, and design for assembly analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electronics engineering, diploma in electrical or electronics engineering.

Key Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Good analytical skills are required. Coaching and mentoring skills are essential. Conflict resolution skills are necessary. Reporting and decision-making skills are also required.
