Corporate Team Member Role Summary
This role is part of Light & Wonder's corporate team, comprised of talented individuals working across the enterprise. As a Corporate Team Member, you will provide essential services to ensure the organization's success and employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the first point of contact for regional queries from employees, addressing HR-related questions and providing support.
- Displays a broad understanding of regional/global HR policies, processes, and resources, applying this knowledge to assess and resolve issues.
- Provides escalation support for complex inquiries, following up as needed to ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database, ensuring data integrity.
- Contributes to process improvements, providing input and recommendations on supporting technologies and workflows.
- Delivers high service delivery standards by responding to and completing transactional work within predetermined service level expectations.
- Works closely with supervisors/managers to deliver against clear priorities, receiving guidance when introducing new responsibilities.
- Follows established workflows and organizational procedures, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive HR information.
- Assists with departmental initiatives and projects as assigned, applying a positive and flexible approach to tasks.
- Contributes to special projects, assuming responsibility and delivering tasks on time.
- Delivers an effective recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the completion of background checks, preparing contracts of employment, and liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Oversees the pre-start candidate journey, positively impacting the process from offer to start date.
- Conducts regular audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, such as RTW checks and quality control.
- Manages the shared HR team inbox, ensuring timely responses to employee inquiries.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the HR space, with a demonstrated proficiency in handling a broader range of employee issues.
- Understanding of the product/service and ability to troubleshoot moderately complex problems independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Cultural competency, with a passion for developing every individual and fostering inclusion.
