Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled CPU Physical Design Engineer to develop high-speed cores for CPUs, GPUs, and other integrated circuits.
  • This role involves collaborating with RTL designers to optimize and refine designs, working on synthesis, constraints, and physical design to achieve Power Performance Area (PPA) goals.
  • The ideal candidate will apply knowledge of silicon margins, VT trade-offs, power, and area impact to improve designs.
  • Responsibilities include floorplanning multi-core systems, including L2 and L3 caches, and developing power plans from bumps to silicon.
  • Critical path analysis, pipelining, latency, and super buffer implementations will also be key responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with low power implementation techniques is an added advantage.

About the Role:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in CPU Physical Design Engineering is required.
  • A strong understanding of high-speed cores, synthesis, and constraints is essential.
  • Experience working with RTL designers and optimization techniques is necessary.
  • Significant knowledge of silicon margins, VT trade-offs, power, and area impact is required.
  • Familiarity with floorplanning, power planning, and critical path analysis is essential.
  • Knowledge of pipelining, latency, and super buffer implementations is necessary.
  • Familiarity with low power implementation skills is an added advantage.
