AWS Cloud Support Specialist

Our company seeks an Application Support Engineer with expertise in cloud-hosted applications on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure high availability and performance of applications hosted on AWS.
- Monitor application health using DataDog and other observability tools; respond to alerts and anomalies.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
- Maintain and update monitoring dashboards and alerting rules.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks, deployments, and configuration updates.
- Document support procedures, incident resolutions, and system changes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- 4+ years of experience in application support or production support roles.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.).
- Proficient in DataDog for monitoring, alerting, and dashboard creation.
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands.
- Good understanding of logs debugging.
- Familiarity with other tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) is a plus.
- Good understanding of incident management and ITIL processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
