Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for backend services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement Monitoring Solutions: Develop and implement observability tools and practices to derive actionable insights from operational data.
  2. Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to design and support scalable, reliable, and resilient systems on AWS.
  3. Contribute to Platform Engineering Projects: Participate in platform engineering projects to create automated solutions for deployment, scaling, and operations.
  4. Analyze System Performance: Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  5. Participate in On-Call Rotations: Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, such as Cloud Infrastructure Engineer or similar.
  • Basic understanding of AWS solutions including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Interest and understanding of Platform Engineering concepts and principles.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
