Job Description:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenStack environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable solutions.

You will design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Additionally, you will manage block storage, file storage, and object storage using various tools and technologies.

Key responsibilities include managing containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift. You will also develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Furthermore, you will integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions. Finally, you will participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
  • Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
