About This Role

As a cloud infrastructure specialist, you will build, deploy and manage scalable infrastructure solutions using Pulumi's modern infrastructure-as-code platform.

You will leverage your expertise in TypeScript and Pulumi SDK to author reusable infrastructure components, manage stack lifecycles and automate deployments across cloud environments.

This role requires strong skills in writing infrastructure code and abstractions with TypeScript, experience with Pulumi CLI commands and understanding of Pulumi stack states and outputs management.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate infrastructure requirements into robust, maintainable Pulumi projects. Your role includes troubleshooting deployment failures, optimizing stack state management and contributing to continuous integration pipelines to support rapid and reliable infrastructure changes.

The day-to-day tasks include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure as code using Pulumi with TypeScript.
  • Creating reusable TypeScript abstractions and components for infrastructure resources.
  • Managing infrastructure deployments and lifecycle using Pulumi CLI commands (pulumi up, preview, destroy).
  • Handling stack state management and retrieving stack outputs for integration with applications and workflows.
  • Writing and maintaining Jest or Mocha tests for infrastructure code to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging deployment issues using logs and Pulumi diagnostics tools.
  • Collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams to continuously improve infrastructure code and automation pipelines.

Employment Details

This is a contractor position with no medical/paid leave. The expected start date is next week and the duration of the contract is one month.

Evaluation Process

The evaluation process consists of two rounds of interviews, each lasting approximately 90 minutes. The first round is technical and the second round is cultural and an offer discussion.
