About the Role

Our organization is seeking an accomplished cloud architect with extensive expertise in designing and implementing cutting-edge, scalable, and secure cloud-native architectures on AWS.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the migration of on-prem monolithic applications to composable architecture on AWS while ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and secure cloud-native architectures using Terraform and Terragrunt.
  2. Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and NX.
  3. Integrate unit testing, code quality, and automation test suites into the pipeline.
  4. Ensure security best practices are followed by managing AWS Organizations, IAM roles & policies, and VPC configurations.
  5. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  6. Support the infra-architecture for composable commerce solutions leveraging AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, GraphQL, Redis, API Gateway, CDN, and multiple AWS regions.
  7. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless API integrations and operational efficiency.
  8. Develop and execute migration strategies for transitioning on-prem monolithic applications to a modular, cloud-native architecture.
  9. Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions utilizing AWS-native tools and best practices.
  10. Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed environments.
Requirements
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in cloud architecture & DevOps with a focus on AWS.
  • Strong expertise in composable architecture, serverless computing, and API-driven solutions.
  • Proven experience in migrating on-prem monolithic applications to cloud-native composable architecture.
  • Proficiency in GitHub, GitHub Actions, NX, SonarQube for CI/CD automation.
  • Hands-on experience in monitoring and observability solutions within AWS.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS networking, security, IAM, VPCs, and multi-region deployments.
  • Strong experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Terragrunt, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
  • Experience with React/Node.js and microservices-based development.
  • Knowledge of Redis, GraphQL, API Gateway, SQN, SNS, and event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of CDN strategies for content delivery and performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating AWS with on-prem systems and hybrid cloud environments.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Understanding of online retail application development and e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with composable commerce solutions such as BigCommerce, CommerceTools, or similar.
