Cloud Security Specialist Position

The objective of this role is to design and implement comprehensive security solutions for cloud-based systems. This includes developing security reference architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing cloud security strategies, focusing on securing cloud usage through native or third-party solutions.
  • Leveraging technical expertise to advise on cloud security matters and collaborating with technology and security teams.
  • Analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective security solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices across various cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Collaborating in the development, implementation, and optimization of a broad set of security technologies and processes within cloud environments.
  • Developing responses to RFI/RFP requirements, creating statements of work, and providing effort estimation services for global customers.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with designing and implementing cloud security architectures.
  • Expertise in secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security, and other cloud-related security areas.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and their associated security challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
